One of the brothers has an Auspex-scanner, to detect hidden enemy troops in cover. In the other hand he's carrying a Flamer, to turn them, when found, into "crispy critters"...
Other two brothers are equipped with pair of Lightning Claws. And they're in the mood for slicing!

In the last posting I decided to make the Veteran robes black. Well, I changed my mind again, as you can see...
I like more of these light brown robes more... It refers to the Dark Angel origin, and gives them more of that "Brotherhood" feeling.

ReplyDeleteThese are some REALLY great highlights on the read. I love the style of them. It's a mix of edge + directed light highlights. Makes these guys really pop out and look larger then life.
Little freehand flames just take the cake!
Thanks Greg! I'm glad you like 'em. I've been thinking of using freehand flames with other units too... but I'm afraid they turn out abit too much "Legion of the Damned"...ish.

ReplyDeleteOlen samaa mieltä... Pitäisi harjoitella mustan maalaamista. Se on vaikeaa saada näyttämään hyvältä. Usein näyttää vaan siltä, että jokin kohta on jäänyt maalaamatta.
