Hello! Here's the starting lineup of my League Team "Sarathai Bloods". Eleven High Elves ready to rumble...

Blood Bowl: New Season, New Team

Hello there! Here's the first pics of my new High Elf Team: Sarathai Bloods.
 Last season with Dwarfs (Miners United) was ok, but I didn't make it to the Semi-finals :( ... I got close anyway :) So this season I wanna try out something completely differrent. Fast pace runnig and throwing game, and avoiding contact... Well, here's the pics.

First five Players ready to rumble! They are all made out of Fantasy Battle Spearmen... except the thrower who used to be FB-Archer champion.

Runners... to represent their lower Armour Value (7), I chose to use the heads without helmets.

Thrower came out really cool... The ball is from greenstuff.

Blitzers... I added a white crest  on their helmets.

NMM is not my speciality, but I like the "gold effect" on this one :)

Finally a Lineman. I made the "face mask" from wire...

Some Blood Bowl Drawings

Hello! My paint brush is working hard, but I have no time for posting at the time... :( I'll try to blog some of the painted minis soon...

But in the meanwhile, here's some drawings I made during our Blood Bowl league (Blood Bowl in the Badlands), that has come to the bronze and final game now... And next round with DZ1 and DZ2  is starting soon. We have our own league blog in here, but it's in Finnish. Really funny game reports there. I recommend if you can handle the language :)

Blood Bowl Daemonettes Done

Hello there! Finally got around to paint the rest of the team. Here's some pics!

First a group shot of the whole 16 player team. I used the color codes on the bases to identify specific player positions... The team is played as proxy Wood Elves.

White base for Throwers.

Yellow for Catchers.

Grey for Linemen...

and some more Linemen.

Red for Wardancers.

And last but not least... Green for Treeman!

Blood Bowl Daemonettes

Hello there! Just a quick posting this time, to show what's on the table...

I was asked to paint these slightly converted GW Daemonettes for Blood Bowl use. I was told that they were going to be used as proxy Wood Elves team... But could be used as unofficial "Daemons of Slaanesh Team" found on the FUMBBL league.

Here's two throwers (#1 and 2), one catcher (#3) and linewomen (#5,6 and 7). More to come soon!

Blood Bowl: High Elves, Lion Warriors Painted

Hello there! Just a quick posting... I found some painting time for myself, and painted two more High Elf players. Here's the pics...

These were also lovely stuff to paint... The sculpting on these catchers is just great. Lots of feeling without too many details. That's how you do it! :)

And here's the back... Bases are not gonna be done on this team (not by me anyway). Coach of the team adviced me to leave them undone... So we are not gonna see them in full gaming glory here :(

Blood Bowl: High Elves in Caledorian Colors WIP

Hello there! Here's the last posting for 2016 for me... I just started another Blood Bowl team. This time it's High Elves. These minis are the good stuff from 1997, the Galadrieth Gladiators! WhenI got this boxed set in my hand I was amazed. It was in such a great condition that it could have been purchased yesterday :) The owner had it stored in the mini cupboard for years and years...

Well here's the WIP-picture of the Linemen that I got in paints today...

I took some inspiration from 5th edition Fantasy Battle, and decided to paint them in the same color theme as the Dragon Princes of Caledor used to be.. at least in the cover of the boxed set that time.

These are all the seven linemen that comes in the box... Next I get to the "special" position players: Phoenix Warrior (Thrower), Lion Warrior (Catcher), and the Dragon Warrior (Blitzer).

Here's pics of the old Galadrieth Gladiators boxed set... It's so cool and in good condition :)

Blood Bowl: New Human Team Painted

Hello! After three long nights of painting new Blood Bowl humies, I finally got them ready for action! Whole team was painted in Reikland Reavers color theme, but I left the team symbols off from the uniform, for I wanted some recycling value for the team, and name it myself later :). Both teams, Humans and Orcs, went to the local game shop for some demo-sessions... That's why the "rule book color" theme. Here's some pics...

Catchers, which are my favorite minis in the great new human team...

Blitzers are really cool too... but in my opinion, they could have differed from the lineman a bit more.

And here are the linemen... They are also a nice lookin group. Altogether, the sculpting on the new human team really rocks! And they paint up really nicely, without too much deatails on them.

 This was my fifth painted Blood Bowl team this year, and I got more coming on January... More of that later... Bye now!
